Meeting: Penny Stoves
Make Club is scheduled to have its first meeting of the ’08-09 year on Friday March 20, 2009 at 6PM in room 13-1380 on the RIT campus (the Honors/Study Abroad building). We’ll be making penny stoves. See the Make Club penny stove wiki page for more info.
These lightweight cooking devices are constructed from soda (…or pop…) cans, burn denatured ethanol (typically), and make great additions to any emergency kit or set of camping gear.
If you’d like to make one, and see what Make Club is all about: please come to 13-1380 this Friday. Please BYOC (that’s bring-your-own-cans).
